Bespoke builds on Laravel, React & WordPress

    Custom Website Development

When an off-the-shelf theme cannot express what your business does, you need a build. I design and develop custom websites and web applications on Laravel, React and WordPress — with crawlability, performance and analytics designed in rather than retrofitted after launch.

    What's Included

Comprehensive solutions tailored to your specific needs

    Stack selection

Laravel, React or WordPress chosen on maintenance reality, not fashion.

    Content modelling

Structures your team can publish into without developer involvement.

    SEO architecture

URLs, rendering strategy, canonicals, schema and sitemaps specified before development.

    Performance budget

Explicit limits on bundle size, blocking resources and third-party scripts.

    Integrations

CRM, payments, ERP, marketing automation and internal systems via secured APIs.

    Deployment & handover

Version control, staging, deploy pipeline and written documentation.

    Problems I Solve

Symptoms this engagement is built to fix

Agency builds that look right but ship as a single JavaScript bundle Google struggles to index.

Custom applications with no server-rendered content, no canonicals and no sitemap.

Sites that cannot scale because content structure was never modelled.

Rebuilds that lose existing rankings because nobody mapped the old URLs.

Handovers with no documentation, no tests and no deployment process.

Marketing teams unable to publish without a developer.

    Choosing the right stack, honestly

Most projects do not need the most fashionable stack. A content-led site with a marketing team behind it is often best on WordPress with custom templates. A business application with complex data, roles and integrations belongs in Laravel. An interactive product surface justifies React — with server rendering if the content must be indexable. I make this recommendation based on who will maintain the site, what the content model looks like and how much of the traffic must come from search, and I explain the trade-offs before you commit rather than after.

    Search visibility designed in

Retrofitting SEO onto a finished custom build is the most expensive way to do it. From the start I define the URL structure, the server-rendered content boundary, canonical and pagination rules, structured data at the template level, XML sitemap generation from the real content source, and correct status codes for every state including empty results and errors. On rebuilds, every existing URL is inventoried and mapped to its replacement or a redirect before launch, so accumulated rankings transfer instead of disappearing.

    Performance and accessibility as requirements

Performance budgets are set in the specification: what may block rendering, how images and fonts load, what runs on the main thread. Accessibility is treated the same way — semantic structure, keyboard operability and contrast are part of the definition of done, not a later audit. Both are verified before launch and after, using field data where available.

    Built to be handed over

Every build ships with a version-controlled repository, environment configuration, a deployment process, seed or migration scripts where relevant, and documentation written for the people who will maintain it. Content models are designed so the marketing team can publish and restructure pages without a developer. If your in-house team takes over, they get a walkthrough rather than a zip file.

    Illustrative Engagement

    A representative scenario

    The problem

A services company had a React marketing site where key pages rendered only after JavaScript execution and had never been indexed reliably.

    The approach

Content pages were moved to server-rendered routes with proper canonicals, sitemap generation was wired to the real content source, and the legacy URL set was mapped and redirected.

    The outcome

The affected pages moved from intermittent indexing to consistently indexed, and the team gained a publishing workflow that no longer needed a deploy for content changes.

Composite scenario based on typical engagements. Replace with a real, attributed case study once published.

    My Process

A proven methodology for delivering exceptional results

    Discovery

Business goals, content model, integrations, existing URLs and maintenance reality.

    2

    Specification

Stack decision, architecture, SEO rules and performance budget documented and agreed.

    3

    Build

Iterative development on staging with review checkpoints.

    4

    Launch & verify

Redirects, QA, analytics verification, indexing checks and handover.
