Win the queries that happen near your customers

    Local SEO Services

Local search is won by relevance, proximity and prominence — and the parts you can control are the technical ones. I build location page architecture that does not duplicate itself, structured data that matches your real business details, and a Google Business Profile setup that supports rather than substitutes for your website.

    Problems I Solve

Symptoms this engagement is built to fix

Dozens of near-identical location pages that Google treats as duplicates or doorway pages.

Business details that differ between the website, Google Business Profile and directories.

LocalBusiness schema that contradicts the address, hours or phone number on the page.

Multi-location sites with no clear hierarchy between service, city and branch pages.

Service-area businesses with no physical address, unsure how to structure their targeting.

Local rankings visible in one part of a city and absent in another.

Location pages that deserve to exist

The fastest way to fail at local SEO is to generate a page per city with the town name swapped in. Google has classified that pattern as doorway content for years, and even when it is tolerated, the pages have nothing to rank on. A location page earns its place when it contains something only that location can provide: the actual team or premises, the specific services delivered there, local pricing or regulatory context, projects completed nearby, travel and coverage details, and questions customers in that area really ask. I would rather build six substantial location pages than sixty thin ones, and I will say so during scoping.

Consistency across every place your business is listed

Name, address and phone consistency is unglamorous and still one of the strongest local signals. I audit what is currently published across your site, Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places and the major directories in your market, correct the discrepancies, and make the website the single source of truth. Structured data is then generated from those same details so the markup can never drift from the visible page — a mismatch there undermines the trust the rest of the work is building.

Google Business Profile as part of the system

The profile is where most local conversions actually happen, so it is treated as a first-class surface: correct primary and secondary categories, services and attributes filled out properly, products where relevant, photos maintained, posts used deliberately, and questions seeded and answered. Reviews are handled with a real request process built into your customer workflow — never purchased, never fabricated — and responses are written to reinforce the services and locations you want to be known for.

Local content and links, without the spam

Local prominence comes from being genuinely connected to the area: sponsorships, suppliers, trade associations, local press, community involvement and partner businesses. These are slower than buying citations and they are the ones that hold. Alongside them, content that answers area-specific questions — regulations, seasonal issues, comparisons between neighbourhoods or markets — attracts the queries that convert locally and gives the location pages something worth linking to.

    Measurement that reflects geography

Average position is meaningless in local search because results change street by street. Tracking is set up on a geographic grid so you can see where you rank in each part of your service area, combined with Google Business Profile interaction data, call and direction tracking, and organic performance segmented by location page. That is how we tell whether a change worked in the areas that matter commercially.

    Illustrative Engagement

    A representative scenario

    The problem

A multi-branch service business had 40 city pages built from one template and was ranking for none of them.

    The approach

The set was reduced to the branches and service areas with real operational presence, each rewritten with location-specific service, team and project detail, and schema was regenerated from verified business data.

    The outcome

The surviving pages started ranking for their city-plus-service queries, and the removed pages' links were consolidated into the branches that could actually serve those customers.

Composite scenario based on typical engagements. Replace with a real, attributed case study once published.
