A publishing system, not a pile of articles
Content Publishing & SEO Content Management
Publishing more does not help if the articles compete with each other, target queries nobody searches, or never link to anything commercial. I run content as a system: a cluster map built from real search data, briefs that specify intent and structure, an internal linking plan, and a refresh cycle for pages already earning impressions.

What's Included
Comprehensive solutions tailored to your specific needs
Cluster and gap map
Every existing and planned page mapped to intent, cluster and commercial destination.
Cannibalisation resolution
Overlapping pages consolidated or differentiated, with redirects where merging wins.
Detailed briefs
Intent, structure, links, schema and expertise requirements specified per piece.
Publishing workflow
Calendar, review gates, on-page checks and deployment handled consistently.
Internal linking maintenance
The link graph updated with every publication, not once at launch.
Refresh programme
Quarterly review of decaying and near-miss pages with substantive updates.
Problems I Solve
Symptoms this engagement is built to fix
Multiple articles competing for the same query, splitting authority.
A blog that attracts traffic which never reaches a service or product page.
Content produced without briefs, so quality depends on who wrote it that week.
Old posts that once ranked, slowly decaying with nobody responsible for them.
Topics chosen from intuition rather than impression and query data.
AI-assisted drafts published without review, damaging credibility.
Cluster mapping before commissioning anything
The first deliverable is a map: the head terms your business should own, the supporting questions around each, and the commercial page every cluster ultimately points at. Existing content is placed on that map first, which almost always reveals overlaps to merge and gaps that matter more than the next new article. Where two pages target the same intent, the decision is explicit — consolidate with a redirect, or differentiate them by intent and audience. This step alone tends to lift performance before a single new word is written.
Briefs that make quality repeatable
Every commissioned piece gets a brief specifying the target query and intent, the questions the piece must answer, the structure and heading hierarchy, the internal links in and out, the schema it will carry, the sources and expertise required, and what makes it different from what already ranks. Whether the draft is written by your team, a freelancer or with AI assistance, the brief is what holds standards constant — and it is where E-E-A-T requirements like author expertise, first-hand experience and citation of primary sources are made non-negotiable.
Internal linking as an ongoing discipline
Internal links are usually added once at publication and never revisited, which means your newest content gets the least support. I maintain the link graph continuously: new articles are linked from relevant existing pages, pillar pages are kept as the hub for their cluster, anchors are descriptive rather than generic, and commercial pages receive links from the informational content that ranks. On larger sites this is the change that most reliably converts existing authority into rankings.
Refresh beats replace
Pages sitting in positions 8–30 with real impressions are the cheapest wins available. A structured refresh cycle reviews them quarterly: intent match against current SERPs, missing subtopics, stale data and screenshots, thin sections, weak titles with poor click-through, and internal links that should now exist. Updates are substantive and the change is documented so we can attribute movement rather than guess at it.
AI in the workflow, with limits
AI is useful for research synthesis, outline drafting, variant titles and formatting work. It is not a substitute for subject expertise, and unedited AI content is easy to spot and increasingly hard to rank. My workflow uses AI where it saves time and requires human expertise, real examples and verified facts everywhere else. Nothing is published under a fabricated author or with invented statistics, case studies or client claims.

Illustrative Engagement
A representative scenario
The problem
A SaaS blog published weekly for two years with rising traffic and no attributable pipeline from organic content.
The approach
Clusters were mapped to product use cases, eleven overlapping posts were consolidated into four pillars, and internal links were rebuilt from the highest-traffic informational posts into the relevant product pages.
The outcome
Traffic concentrated on fewer, stronger URLs and organic sessions began reaching product pages instead of exiting from the blog.
Composite scenario based on typical engagements. Replace with a real, attributed case study once published.
My Process
A proven methodology for delivering exceptional results
Inventory
Every existing URL mapped to query, intent, performance and cluster.
Strategy
Cluster map, consolidation decisions and publishing cadence agreed.
Production
Briefs issued, drafts reviewed, pages published with schema and links.
Review
Monthly reporting, refresh queue maintained, strategy adjusted on data.
